A Long History With Dearborn Basketball
Dearborn Players Who Have Been Part of The Factory
Factory Basketball and The Factory have worked with many outstanding varsity boys and girls basketball players from Dearborn and Dearborn-area schools over the years.
One of the most accomplished is Fordson High School's Rana Elhusseini. Rana played for our Factory Basketball 2019 Orange Team before continuing her career at Edinboro University and later the University at Buffalo.
Justina Szalkowski of Dearborn High School, played for Factory Basketball going into her senior year then went on to play at Schoolcraft College.
We have had, and continue to have, many Divine Child athletes play for and train at The Factory. Among those Divine Child athletes was Maddie Rzepka, who also played on our 2019 Orange team, then went on to play college basketball at Saint Mary's College.
From developing young players to varsity athletes who eventually reached college basketball, Dearborn has been an important part of Factory Basketball's history.
A Proven Path to College Basketball
More than 50 Factory athletes have gone on to compete in college athletics, including NCAA Division I, Division II, Division III, NAIA and JUCO programs.

Factory Basketball is based at The Factory, our dedicated basketball training facility at 6584 Commerce Drive in Westland. The facility is approximately 24 minutes from Dearborn High School.
Does Factory Basketball have girls travel teams for Dearborn players?
Yes. Factory Basketball offers girls travel basketball opportunities for athletes from Dearborn and communities throughout Metro Detroit. Available grades and teams vary by season, so families should check the current Tryouts page for the latest information.
