A Long History With Northville Basketball
Why Northville Families Choose Factory Basketball
Factory Basketball has a long and successful history with the Northville basketball community. Approximately two dozen current and former Northville varsity boys and girls basketball players have trained at The Factory, played for Factory Basketball teams, or both.
Our connection with Northville basketball goes back to some of the earliest years of the Factory program. The 2016 Northville Girls Class A State Quarterfinal team included six Factory athletes. Two of those players were already starters as sophomores that season.
That relationship has continued with the next generation of Northville players. Three current Northville varsity starters trained at The Factory for multiple years as they developed their games.
From developing youth players to athletes competing at the varsity level, Northville has been an important part of Factory Basketball's history for more than a decade.
A Proven Path to College Basketball
Since Factory Basketball's first graduating class in 2018, more than 50 Factory athletes have gone on to compete in college athletics, including NCAA Division I, Division II, Division III, NAIA and JUCO programs.
For athletes with goals of playing at the next level, our focus is on development, appropriate competition and helping players find the right college opportunity academically, athletically and personally.

Factory Basketball is based at The Factory, our dedicated basketball training facility at 6584 Commerce Drive in Westland. Northville High School and Downtown Northville are approximately 21 minutes away.
Does Factory Basketball have girls travel teams for Northville players?

Travel depends on the team and season. Some Factory teams compete primarily in Michigan and regional events, while our highest-level teams may play national exposure schedules. Team placement considers both ability and the level of travel commitment a family can make.
Does Factory Basketball help players develop outside of team practice?
Yes. Individual development is a major part of the Factory system. Depending on the season and team, athletes receive a training package allowing them access to specialized skills training, shooting, ball handling, finishing, strength and athletic-development opportunities in addition to regular team practices.
